Cianjur Regency, West Java, October 5, 2026 — The Prima Cianjur Course and Training Institute (LKP) continues to strengthen its commitment to reducing unemployment rates and producing young entrepreneurs in the Cianjur Regency area through the implementation of the Entrepreneurship Skills Education Program (PKW) and Work Skills Education (PKK).
In the 2026 PKW program, LKP Prima focused on automotive training. Thirty participants were selected from approximately 150 applicants through a rigorous selection process. The 19-day training, equivalent to 150 teaching hours (JP), opened in July 2026 and is expected to graduate all participants by August 2026.
The head of LKP Prima Cianjur, Cep Yudi Hamdani, explained that in this PKW program, his team is implementing a personalized and comprehensive business mentoring approach. Participants are provided with incentives in the form of working capital and independent workshop equipment.
"For this year's PKW program, we're providing individual equipment, including a 0.75 HP compressor and a complete set of workshop keys. This is to prepare them to open their own workshops or online. We're also collaborating with Bank BJB for capital assistance and the Cianjur automotive community for business networking support," said Cep Yudi.
Cep Yudi added that LKP Prima also provides free accommodation and meals for participants from remote areas of South Cianjur, such as Agrabinta and Leles, to ensure equal access to training.
In addition to training entrepreneurial independence, LKP Prima facilitates some PKW participants seeking to gain field experience by connecting them to internships and industry work. Seven PKW participants this year have been employed by the Planet Ban network.
One of the training participants from Mekarjaya Village, Sukaluyu District, Muhammad Aldi (18), said that the 20-day free intensive training program at LKP Prima provided a job guarantee and increased his self-confidence before entering the industry directly.
"The training here is completely free, and the facilities are very supportive. It doesn't just review basic vocational school lessons; it also deepens technical knowledge and teaches customer service skills to prepare for employment. This training is very helpful in preparing for work and supporting the family's finances," said Aldi.
Previously, from November to December 2025, LKP Prima also successfully held the Family Welfare Program (PKK) with a quota of 30 participants from a total of 100 applicants. Unlike the PKW program, which focuses on entrepreneurship, the PKK program focuses on direct employment in partner industries that meet MSE standards.
"The PKK recruitment model we implement is job matching from the start. Participants first take psychological tests and interviews with partner companies like Planet Ban. Once they pass, we then provide them with 20 days of technical training. As a result, graduates from the PKK LKP Prima program guarantee 100 percent job absorption in the industry," Cep Yudi emphasized.
In addition to the central government's assistance programs through the Family Welfare Program (PKK) and Family Welfare Program (PKW), which are also supported by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikbud), along with synergies with institutions like Dompet Dhuafa, LKP Prima Cianjur routinely operates 12 regular training classes annually, each with a capacity of 25 participants. LKP Prima also actively forms training partnerships based on CSR and regional budget (APBD) to expand the reach of benefits for the Cianjur community.
